Our Mission

Established in 2020, Egypt Relief & Aid (ERA) is focused on bringing attention to the development of Egypt through enhancing the socioeconomic, artistic, health, and educational landscapes in urban and rural communities across the country’s regions. We seek to support and strengthen existing initiatives and partner with trustworthy organizations on the ground to have the broadest impact in many issue areas. As an all women, volunteer run organization, we pass over 93% of your donations on to our projects and programs*. ERA is a 501(c)(3) registered organization with the IRS, and donations are fully tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

ERA’s mission is to protect the most vulnerable Egyptians, elevate their most pressing concerns, improve their well-being, and promote more cohesive and developed communities through our various initiatives and advocacy programs.

*A minimal fee is charged by our fiscal partner (CAF America) to transfer donations overseas, vet our partners for compliance, and for the administration of our fund.
