Resettlement & Medical Aid

In partnership with the Mersal Foundation, ERA is launching an urgent campaign to raise funds that will support families across Egypt as they navigate the dual challenges of survival and recovery amidst harsh economic realities and debilitating medical conditions.

This campaign will provide critical aid through the Social Aid for Patient Families initiative. This zakat-eligible program offers monthly financial assistance for essential needs like food, rent, and clothing. However, it’s more than just financial support — it’s a lifeline, particularly for refugee families, some of whom are dealing with the physical and emotional scars of violence.

Funds raised will be distributed through two key programs:

• Meeza Cards: Prepaid cards designed to help families cover their basic living expenses, tailored to each family’s specific needs.

• El-Sanad Cards: These cards provide families with a reliable way to purchase food from Mersal’s partner supermarkets, ensuring they have access to essential groceries.
